  2. I Think dress THREE should have more bobbles and no reverse row above the hearts, then it will be perfect!!! :)

    1. ps, I do like your version because the fit is so nice not like the ones were they have just knitted them from the bigger doll pattern :)

    2. You don't want much do you!! More bobbles all the way round would make it look like a darlek

  3. Oh, never thought, you'ld really try it!
I love it, it looks a bit like the 1920th.
The bobbleline like kind of a belt -on a lowered waist.

    1. Can't find out, what a 'darlek' is. (kind of shapeless?)
      You're a perfect knitter, I'm impressed.

Am I allowed to say something more?
I agree with Dee about the reverse line above the hearts.

    2. Darleks are an enemy of Doctor Who, they are thimble shaped with rows and rows of raised bubbles leading up to a domed head with what looks like a sink plunger for an eye

  4. Lovely :) I think this one is just perfect, although the other one was nice too! I laughed at your darlek comment.....if you knit one like that, I'd have to get behind the sofa as I always do when I see the daleks!!! :)

    1. I croched a blue baby mattanee coat once for my sister Jackie when she was expecting which had bobbles on it and it looked just like a darlek when it was finished. lucky for her she had a girl and so I still have it somewhere.

  5. I prefer the second version too AND would like it better WITHOUTthe reveresed knit line above the hearts pattern....although I realise that it's to show the start of the boarder.
As your sister says a couple of extra bobbles might not go amiss either.
    Very pretty colour.

    1. The next one will be two tone as per Sarah's comment, I'll try the additional bobbles and missing row after that.
