More Bobbles!

More bobbles were requested so more bobbles were done, however I then shortened the sleeves and turned the dress into a tunic.

I had been admiring this lovely '68 FCP on Shelly's site for ages, every day I would look at her and say to myself do I really need another Sasha! and yet everyday I would check to see if she was sale pending, then one day she was I couldn't resist that sweet face any longer and now she has come to live with us.

Introducing Dakota.

My take on Jacknits part 3

Well after the comments I went back to the drawing board and tried Sarah's version.

Then I added some sparkle, items were just placed  as I'm not so sure.

Your comments will be very much appreciated.

My take on a Jacknits pattern

Yesterday I decided to have a go at one of the jacknits patterns I have. Searching through my vast quantity of knitting patterns could I find it, no I could not!! Was the fact that I didn't have a pattern going to stop me.... No!

I cast on 120 stitches (now I hate lots of stitches which is why I like knitting for Sasha) and knitted about 4" when I decided that it would be too small, so this was put aside and 155 stitches was then cast on!!

Teagan is modelling the result.

On the first one I had the bobbles along the bottom which I think I prefer. What do you think?

New Year, New resolutions!

What can I say, its been very very quiet on this blog through 2014 so one of my New Years Resolutions is to blog more often and so to that effect today January 1st 2015 is Trendon's day.

Trendon was an ebay find who needed to be saved from being dressed as a girl!

The poor little mite was pictured wearing the pink dress, his eyes pleaded to be set free and to once more be the little boy he was meant to be.

He had worn his underwear for so long the elastic had perished and stuck to his body.

After a little TLC Trendon was redressed and is now a very much happier if shy little boy.

He would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope it is filled with love and joy as he knows his will be. xxx
