The Gombe Tent and a surprise.

The Gombe tent arrived a while ago and as we are having some fine weather I decided to make it up to see how it looked. Imagine my surprise when I went outside to take the picture and saw this.

"Hello, are you alright in there"

"No need to be shy, what's your name?"

"I'm not shy, I'm Xander and I've come to live with you as I was told you have no kids with a name beginning with X."

"Well welcome Xander, would you like to come indoors for some milk and cookies and you can meet all the other children."

"Yes please"
Taking my hand he followed me inside to meet his new family.

Xander, 70's puddle eyed blonde

Lions and Tigers and Cats.. oh my

Whisper enjoying the tent.

  1. Fab tent - just like a scout one. I've not heard of this make before where did it come from?
Your kids will be able to go on all kinds of adventures now.
Love your new boy (we have a Xander too - perhaps they are related!?)

    1. I purchased the tent from the US, It's part of the Gombe rainforest range that the_queens_treasures sell on ebay.
Xander is a sweetie, you never know they may be cousins!

  4. This tent is FAB just on its own but what a wonderful extra surprise for you to find a new lad, Xander, asleep inside as well! Two for the price of one so to speak!
I'm particularly taken too with that camp bed as it so reminds me of my late father's army issue folding camp bed.
Your Sasha/Gregor props and accessories are quickly mounting up over these last few months. How lucky is that!

  5. Hi Xander. I'm happy to hear you have a new home and such a cool tent to use in the summer for sleep-outs. It's late autumn here where I live so we''ll have to look into one for next summer. Your friend, Angelo
